Wild Food Dinners
Helsinki is a excellent place to sample food from around Finland, either from traditional and innovative spheres. There are scores of restaurants to test in Helsinki As these are simply a couple suggestions.
6. You might not be able to swim.
Guests can dine al fresco, which provides them with unobstructed views of the ocean as well as the best opportunity for people watching along the promenade. Inside, diners can experience the rustic décor, wide arches and relaxing setting of a converted antique boathouse. The service at Il-Kartell is prompt and polite, but the food should be savored with all the time in the world.
Meze (Appetizers and Shared Starters)
After Christians regained control of the city from Arabs at 1166, construction began on the cathedral less than 20 decades later as a commitment to the Virgin Mary. The structure was altered, added to, and strengthened through the years. The interior includes a 15th century statue of the pregnant Virgin Mary known as The Lady of Moms. The cathedral offers an onsite memorial and treasury with a portion of wood and exhibits of precious stones said to be from the cross used to crucify Jesus Christ. Entry to the museum is $3.50. Even the Évora Cathedral is one of the largest medieval cathedrals in Portugal and remains a substantial structure in Portugal. Entry is $2.
Lock your Vacation and Travel Lifestyle!
1. Be sure to stay at the quietly elegant Four Seasons Washington. Located in Georgetown, it gives you the best of the neighborhood but is close enough to walk to downtown DC.
2. DC is undergoing a foodie revolution at the moment, but my favorite foodie neighborhood is Barracks Row, home to great restaurants serving up American classics with style.
3. Everyone knows about the amazing Smithsonian Institution Museums, but also be sure to spend a day exploring the Newseum. This remarkable museum details the history of the press and media and why it’s so important to a thriving democracy.
4. The best Smithsonian Museum (in my opinion) isn’t actually in Washington, but instead is located next to Dulles International Airport. The Udvar-Hazy extension of the Air & Space museum houses all of the oversized aircraft that won’t fit anywhere else. From a space shuttle to the first commercial jet, it’s a fascinating place to visit if you love aviation.
5. To see a different side of DC, be sure to take a Potomac boat cruise. Sure, it’s touristy but you’ll see the monuments and other key sights in a totally new way.
We are inside Thian Hock Keng Temple. It was constructed in the 1840s using the best materials from China at the time. In 1973 it was declared a national monument. Admission is free!

From there we headed to Jal Mahal a palace that sits in the middle of Man Sagar lake. The grand palace is made of red sandstone and most of it submerged.

What I hope people find in my podcast is the courage to confront their resistance to this change, the inspiration to use travel to look inwardly, and use creativity to share what they find. This is the transformative process. You’ve done it, David, with your blog, Youtube and Instagram channels. I’ve done it with my podcast and community. I want others to find and live their stories too.
